After deciding not to restore my 1968 Ford Galaxie Convertible, I went on a hunt for the car that I really "grew up" in....a Ford Maverick.  I found this car about an hour away in Greenville, Ohio.  A little old lady had bought the car brand new in May, 1970 for her man servant to drive her around town in.  Why she choose a Maverick Grabber we will never know.  She died shortly after that and the car was inherited by her son.  He was a doctor and had no use for the car, so he put it in his basement.  There the car sat until the son decided to sell the car.  He sold it to the gentleman in Greenville, Ohio that I purchased the car from.  The car was in amazing condition having been in Ohio its entire life.  It only had 48,000 miles on it.  I had the car repainted, rechromed the front bumper and booomerang chrome, and did the usual maintenance items such as tires, brakes, tune-up, etc.  I took the car to many car shows, including several Maverick/Comet Club International Round-Up Nationals.

Having bought a 1972 Maverick Grabber to restore, I decided the Corral wasn't big enough to hold them all, so I sold this car in September, 2001
